The Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth (CFSY) invites you to our Healing & Hope reception in celebration of our 15th anniversary. On September 26th, we will gather a diverse group of formerly incarcerated advocates, survivors of violence, legal partners, legislators, parole board members, national partners, and others. Together, we will reflect on the past 15 years of a movement that we have built together and look to the work ahead.
Your sponsorship will strengthen the efforts of the CFSY, as we work to:
- Implement and amplify effective tactics for freeing people given extreme sentences as children, in an effort to dismantle mass incarceration, in key states including Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and North Carolina;
- Amplify compelling and effective alternatives to adult prison for youth convicted of the most serious crimes, that are informed and led by those most directly impacted;
- Establish and implement a model of community-care through an investment in the well-being and potential of our directly impacted partners; and
- Shape public opinion and build will for a shared commitment to our most vulnerable children as well as the potential and well being of our directly impacted partners.
Hosts will be invited to an intimate gathering prior to the reception, receive 10 tickets (for yourself or donated) to the Healing & Hope reception, and be recognized in promotional materials before and during the gathering.
Catalysts will receive 8 tickets (for yourself or donated) to the Healing & Hope reception and be recognized in promotional materials before and during the gathering.
Champions will receive 6 tickets (for yourself or donated) to the Healing & Hope reception and be recognized in promotional materials before and during the gathering.
Changemakers will receive 4 tickets (for yourself or donated) to the Healing & Hope reception and be recognized in promotional materials before and during the gathering.
Advocates will receive 2 ticket (for yourself or donated) to the Healing & Hope reception and be recognized in promotional materials before and during the gathering.
